Ditch the kitchen and treat yourselves! We have all had enough of the same four walls, it's time to get booking (and I really mean get booking, the whole of the UK and its wife wants to get out of their home)!
As a foodie and resident in Gloucestershire, I thought I would introduce you to my favourite pub in the Cotswolds. The Bell Inn at Langford. The village itself is picturesque and the pub is nestled on the side of a little country lane. They have ample outdoor space, which bodes well with the current restrictions. Hopefully this weather will start to sort itself out (not that has ever stopped us Brits from going to a pub!).

The service is friendly and attentive and the team know their menu and what ale is on tap. The Bell's interior is in my mind, exactly what a pub should look like: log fire, cosy, low ceilings and no extra fuss, which some Cotswolds pubs can adhere to more often than not!
The highlight of the Bell is the food. Every time I go there I never know what I am going to order because I want to eat it all! I always say to my husband, 'don't let me have the same as last time, I need to try new things'!

Their menu changes seasonally but they do offer the 'standard' pub grub such as your classic fish and chips (delicious) burger (delicious) some sort of pie (delicious) to name a few. Then they have their flat breads and pizza's, their dough is incredible, light and not stodgy with some great seasonal toppings, any Italian would be impressed (I have eaten enough pizzas in Italy to know!)
The Bell Inn also have a couple of rooms that offer breakfast in the morning so if you fancy coming for a cheeky trip and don't want to worry about being over the limit, book a room (in advance).

You could leave the hustle and bustle of the city and start with a nice long walk and end with a refreshing cold pint and a three course meal at The Bell Inn at Langford, you will not regret it!
The owners Peter Creed and Tom Noest also run the Little Bell at Soho Farmhouse and are now the proud new owners of The Lamb in Shipton Under Wychwood which will be opening in June this year. You can follow them on Instagram @thebelllangford @thelittlebell.
